| It`s “Ladies in Free" at Cleveland County Speedway This Week!
They say new promoter Duane Goins is losing his mind. Letting people in free? No way!! Well, it's happening in Lawndale NC at Cleveland County Speedway. This Friday, May 9th .
“I remember back in the day at Hickory Motor Speedway, Mother's day weekend was one of the biggest of the year. It gives Dad a great chance to take Mom out and do a little extra like stopping to eat on the way to the the track with the money he will save. It's a win-win-win for all involved, and I 'm proud to finally have the opportunity to do it, and maybe, just maybe, if we are producing a great show, they will want to come back !"
Speaking of Hickory, ALL of Catawba County will be admitted free May 16th” said the along time announcer turned promoter. “We have 10 different counties an cities target this year to let hem in free to give them a break and so see what we are doing and maybe spend some money in the Lawndale and Fallston area.
GM Performance Late Models headline the 6 classes on the card this week with 140 laps of action. Gates open at 5 pm , drivers meeting at 7 pm and the racing starts at 8.
Adults $12 , kids under 10 free and of course, all ladies in free. Pit competitors will pay $20 in chance of $8,000 this week.
