Millersburg OH - With a little cooperation from the weatherman, this weekend Hilltop Speedway will kick off an all new racing program called “Thunder on the Hill” and it all begins Friday night with Super Late Models, Modifieds, and Pure Stocks. Our current Saturday night line up will feature Limited Late Models, Mini Stocks, and Mini Trucks. We know race fans have come to expect a high level of excitement for their hard earned money and this tiny Holmes County dirt track continues to draw top competitors from a multi state region. Last weeks show overshadowed a much higher profile event and now we can offer more special shows, a wider variety of programming, and two nights of top quality action at a discounted admission price.
We begin with a regular three division program on Friday night, gates will open at 5:00, hot laps and time trials begin at 6:30, and green flag racing starts at 8:00 with Super Late Models, Modifieds and Pure Stocks. Admission price is $12 to see our top three divisions in flat out thrill a minute dirt oval track racing. Saturday will be very special as we premier a brand new night of racing along with a brand new headline division. Limited Late Models will take center stage with an $800 to win main event while our popular Mini Stock and Mini Trucks return to action on this new night. The Saturday admission is only $10 or a two day "Thunder" pass can be purchased for $20, that is close to what a few other tracks charge for a single night of racing. Pit side admission remains at $25 for each night. We begin just a little bit earlier on Saturday as gates will swing open at 4:30. The on track excitement begins at 6:00 with hot laps and time trials for the Limited Lates and the green flag will signal the start of main event racing at 7:30.
