Just reading the headlines you may have thought Corey Conley put a whoopin’ on the field last week at Wayne County, NOT SO! Conley led flag to flag but given one more lap any one of five cars could have won that race. Doug Drown was fast on the move with a last lap pass on Ryan Eddleblute for second, Markham just waiting for the slightest mistake by either and DJ Cline in the cat bird seat should disaster strike for the front runners. This is the kind of racing WCS is so well known for. Thinking of that young Eddleblute boy, someone did their homework over the winter. Way to hang with the best!

Now the Sprint feature, well that was a runaway win. Vaccaro made it look so easy but I think those in the business know better. He came to the race track prepared. That car was hooked and didn’t miss a beat, plus he hit his marks lap after lap and would never lift even knowing he had a substantial lead. A little misfortune of others might be a different story, increased competition may change the headlines too but I will say I enjoyed every lap and hope to see the Precision Body and Frame # 7 in winners circle again real soon!

Up next, Wayne County Pure Stocks. I cant figure out what’s so special about an old Camaro that was built in a little shed out back of the house. This car has been beat to death at Lakeville, run the dog piss out of at WCS and still can’t be beat. Is there something secret under the hood or maybe who ever may be behind the wheel that particular week? Whatever they aint telling. I think what may be most interesting is what went on behind that blue #66 last week. Do you think what’s good for the goose is good for the gander? Best racing ever, tune in this Saturday to find out!

Cruisers, Mini Stocks? Zzz. Come on guys,,,,
Wayne County this Saturday night, racing at 7.
You know the rest.
